Events beyond our Control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (a “Force Majeure Event”).
A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster; the impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; the impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; or the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
Our performance under any contract with you is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
Entire Agreement
These terms of use, our privacy policy and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of any contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between you and us, whether oral or in writing. You and we acknowledge that, in entering into a contract, you have not and we have not relied on any representation, undertaking or promise given by the other or be implied from anything said or written in negotiations between you and us prior to such contract except as expressly stated in these terms of use. These terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England. Disputes arising hereof shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
ORDERING WALLPAPER AND PRINT INFORMATION

When you place an order to make a purchase from us, we will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order. Keeping you informed all the way through the process.
Your order at this point in time represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is then accepted by us when we send you an 'Order Confirmation' email.
Within one working day of receipt of your order we will contact you either by telephone or email to advise and discuss delivery of your order. Our acceptance of your order is complete once we have sent you an 'Order Confirmation' email. Any products on the same order that we have not confirmed in an 'Order Confirmation' email do not form part of that contract.
We aim to despatch unmounted prints usually within 5 working days of confirming you order. Framed prints are made to order and therefore will be despatched within 28 days of your order being confirmed. You will be kept advised of the process of your order but you may contact us at any time for a status update by calling us on 07837087036 or by emailing us at info@sidneypaulandco.com
Wallpaper and Print Orders
Wallpapers are produced for us by our manufacturer in the UK. Due to the nature of print to order, we aim to complete your order within 28 days of conformation. When a special commission for wallpaper has been requested a time schedule shall be agreed upon by the client and SIDNEY PAUL & Co. If you would prefer to speak to us please call 0044 (0)7837087036
As all our pictures are made to order we opporate strictly on Cash Before Shipment.
We accept payments via wire transfer or by cheque. If you wish to pay by cheque, please telephone us at 0044 (0)78037087036 or email: info@sidneypaulandco.com, so that we can process your purchase off line. An invoice will be issued to you, on receipt of which you should send us a cheque made payable to Sidney Paul and Co. to our head office. Sidney Paul & Co, Ravenswood, Station Rd, Marple, Cheshire. SK6 6NY Once the funds have cleared from your cheque payment, your order will be fulfilled. If you wish to remit via wire transfer, please contact us so that we may supply you with our banking details. On receipt of your funds, your order will be fulfilled.
Prices are quoted in £Sterling, and are inclusive of UK sales tax @20%
No minimum order.
Handling & Delivery will be subject to weight of item/s to be delivered.
Flat mounted prints are typically £5.00 per order.
DELIVERY
Packing and delivery for orders of our Limited Edition Prints, is handled on our behalf by our framers in Stockport. Our unframed limited edition prints are mounted and acetate wrapped with a Certificate of Authenticity where applicable and are packed and dispatched flat. Open editions are mounted on board and acetate wrapped. A delivery date will be confirmed once your order has been placed and full payment received. Unframed prints are usually available to be dispatched within 10 working days but orders for framed prints are usually completed within 2 weeks but may take up to 28 days to process. You will be kept informed of due date of completion and when the delivery date has been scheduled. Orders being exported out of the European Union are free of VAT (UK Sales Tax). DELIVERY CHARGES
All orders are subject to delivery or shipping charges. Delivery charges are calculated on the basis of the weight of the product being dispatched and wherever possible, we have subsidised these costs as much as we can. We will only use reputable courier services. RETURNS POLICY (WALLPAPER AND PRINTS)
OUR REFUNDS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
Items Returned With The Seven-day Cooling Off Period
By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day the item is delivered.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of delivering the item to you.
Please contact our office by email or telephone within seven working days of the day the item was delivered stating your name & address, the invoice number, and the item(s) you wish to return. Please do not return any items to us before contacting our office.
When a commission or a special request for a bespoke wallpaper has been ordered, when a proof which has been signed off by you the client, a non refundable 40% deposit (of total order) will be required. These commissioned products are non returnable and non refundable as these products are made to your specific requirements. When an order for a commission is cancelled at the initial approval stage no more fees will be charged. Deposits cannot be redeemed at anytime. We will not refund your costs in returning the item to us unless you are returning the item because of damage or is different to the order confirmation supplied by SIDNEY PAUL & Co.
Any item returned should be in their original condition and must be packed in its original packaging and in the case of mounted prints, must be unsealed. We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of mounted prints where the item has been unsealed.
Please be aware that you will be responsible for returning the item to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged. To ensure safe return of the item, at your request we may arrange for collection from your address at your cost. In this instance, once the item has been collected by our courier, we will assume the responsibility for its safe return to us and therefore we recommend this method of return. When you contact us to inform us of your wish to return the item, we will provide a quotation for the collection and where appropriate take payment.
If you wish to use your own method of return, this must be agreed by us before you proceed.
On receipt of your item, subject to it fulfilling the criteria stated above, we will refund the item and delivery charge for the original transaction.
Items returned because they are incorrect or damaged.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because the item is damaged we will arrange for the collection of the incorrect or damaged item and arrange for a replacement to be sent to you at our cost.
Please contact our office by email or telephone within seven working days of the day the item was delivered stating your name and address, the Invoice and Order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and whether the item was sent in error or has been damaged in transit. Please do not return any items to us at your own expense, we will arrange with you a convenient day to collect the incorrect/damaged item.
The delivery of the correct item or replacement for a damaged item will be despatched to you as soon as possible and will be arranged with you by telephone or email.
